I currently live in Grand Prairie, and have lived in the Dallas area for all but about 5 years. In fact I took lessons for many years from Dallas artist, Marie Kern. I went to college first at Dallas Baptist University and then transferred to Texas State University (then Southwest Texas). I earned by Bachelors in Fine Arts with a specialty in painting.

Over the years I've sold paintings throughout the United States, but mostly to private collectors here in Dallas, TX. I have also provided works for charities like Duncanville Lions Club, and others to use in Auctions and other fundraisers.

When I'm not painting, I spend my time with my wonderful husband, Mike,  our son, Austin, and our two beagles Cricket and Spike
